THE JOURNEY
of how far we came, in words of mine.

It was all in His plans for me to study in Sydney. Now that I'm here, it's up to me to shine His light.

FLY AWAY TO SYD
on the journey to Sydney.

4 years in Sydney is an awefully long time.
Catch me before I fly away, cause I'm having the time of my life.
Friends come and go, but the close ones never part irregardless of the distance.

The Lord said to me, be adventurous and you'll be rewarded. Be daring, and I'll watch your back and be with you every step of the way.

And there I was, on a friday morning, taking my first ever ferry ride to Manly. Armed with my sunnies, a bottle of water and 20bucks, I set off for Manly - Seven Miles from Sydney, A Thousand Miles from Care.

I decided to be different and skip Manly Beach first. Went on a TEN KILOMETRES walk from Manly Wharf to the Spit Bridge. It's called the Manly Scenic Walk. Haha. I swear, anyone who didn't take this walk won't know how beautiful Manly is! The walk was tough, especially so since I wasn't in proper footwear (was wearing slippers!) But i'm not complaining, cause I was my 'Gateway to Heaven'!! (: SO SO pretty.

And just when I was nearly the end of my walk, I met a kind soul who helped show me where the bus stop back to Manly was. He paid for my bus fare and even offered to give me a lift back home to Maroubra! (: Awesome Scottish. Jeff, that was his name.

Viewed Manly Beach and The Corso. Pretty pretty. Lovely shops and clothing lines. I was so tempted to get something from there.

Everyone there was so friendly. All the dogs there didn't have a leash on them, and they just ran carefreely. (: Plus, they didn't even make an attempt to bite/lick you! Haha.

Well, I came home exhausted. Legs sore from cuts, bruises and blisters.

But I definitely want to go back to Manly again to complete the other walking trails.
